A judge is ordering a man accused of opening fire outside of Wrigley Field earlier this month to remain in custody without bail. Raphael Hammond is charged with being a felon in possession of a handgun. A federal judge ruled that the defendant’s criminal background showed that he was dangerous. He added that Hammond also had been shot 12 different times. Prosecutors say the suspect was shot at by a person in a SUV on May 5 across from the ballpark. Hammond went inside a nearby bowling alley, returned with a gun, and fired at the vehicle. The gunman in the SUV remains at large.
