Mon-Rose, United Jr. High Earn Medals at IESA State Finals

The Junior class 3A state track and field meet was held this weekend in East Peoria. Monmouth-Roseville 8th grader Layla Katile was 2nd in the entire state in the girls shot put and 7th grader Andrew Snyder was 4th in the boy’s shot put. United 7th grader Natali Postin was 5th in the tough 400 meter run and the Red Storm 7th grade girls 4×400 meter relay team also medaled, placing 5th.
