Story by Kadin Rogers

The Monmouth-Roseville Titans baseball team is nearly officially done with their regular season slate for 2024. On Tuesday night, Monmouth-Roseville finally got their senior day game played at home against West Central, capturing a 12-2 win over the Heat. That win bumps the Titans overall record up to (12-13), with a (5-5) mark in Three Rivers Conference play. M-R has one game left on their regular season schedule, a TRAC West Division contest against the Sherrard Tigers on Thursday. Following the Thursday contest, the Titans will then shift their focus to class 2A regional tournaments beginning on Monday. Monmouth-Roseville was given a 6-seed in the 2A Princeton regional, and will host a quarterfinal play-in game against 7-seed Mercer County on Monday afternoon at Sunny Lane Field in Monmouth. If the Titans can grab a win over the Golden Eagles on the 13th, they will head north to Princeton for a rematch against number 1 seed Sherrard next Wednesday.

Monmouth-Roseville baseball coach Jordan Ball previewed the Titans upcoming regional matchups, on the WRAM Morning Show on Wednesday.

Monmouth-Roseville’s final regular season game against Sherrard will begin on Thursday with the first pitch from Sunnylane Field at 4:30.
