The Monmouth-Roseville Titans baseball team officially wrapped up their season this past weekend in class 2A regional play. After a quarterfinal walk-off victory over Mercer County and another late game, upset victory over Sherrard in the semifinals, Monmouth-Roseville had their season ended at the hands of Rockridge in the regional championship on Saturday afternoon. Officially, the Titans end their season with an overall record 14-14, and a 5-5 mark in Three Rivers Conference West Division play. Throughout the course of the season, Monmouth-Roseville had their share of ups and downs, starting the season just 3-6 while also putting together a 6 game win streak in the middle of the season.

Speaking on the WRAM Morning Show on Wednesday, Titans baseball coach Jordan Ball talked about how the team was able to find consistency in the home stretch of their season to advance past Sherrard and reach a regional championship game.

Monmouth-Roseville baseball now turns their focus to preparing for next season without 10 seniors who graduate from MRHS this month. For the full interview with Coach Ball, visit the Sports Podcast section of our website, radiomonmouth.com.
