With the return of our 3rd Excellence in Education Banquet in 2023, Regional Superintendent Jodi Scott and the Regional Office of Education #33 will host the fourth annual Excellence in Education Banquet on May 9th, from 5:30-8:30 PM at the Vault at Reserve Artisan Ales. Regional Office of Education #33 is honored to continue its tradition of the Excellence in Education Banquet, which recognizes local educators and school administration for their hard work throughout the year.

This event honors Board of Education members, school support staff, teachers, retiring educators, and administrators. Our region’s school districts nominated certified and non-certified educators for this year’s awards. A team at the Regional Office of Education finalizes the winners in each category.

The following will be recognized for their hard work at this year’s banquet:

  • Retiring Support Staff with 20+ years of service
  • Retiring Educators with 20+ years of service
  • Board of Education members with 12+ years of service, including retiring after 12 years
  • Honoree in Education- educator award for teachers and administrators
  • Honoree in Education- support staff award for non-certified positions

The Regional Office of Education #33 and Regional Superintendent Jodi Scott hope the Excellence in Education Banquet will become the precedent for educator awards in Henderson, Knox, Mercer, and Warren Counties.
