Cam’Ron Lei Glass, 18, of Galesburg, Illinois, died Friday, June 7, 2024 at home.

Cam’Ron was born August 20, 2005 in Kewanee, Illinois the son of Chalece L. Wright and Halter L. Glass. Cam’Ron graduated from Galesburg High School in 2023.

Cam’Ron is survived by his mother Chalece of Galesburg; his father, Halter of Alabama; maternal grandparents, Curtis and Rochelle Wright of Galesburg; paternal grandmother, Pamela Murphy of Alabama; one brother, Cayden Wright of Galesburg; three sisters, Cyra Wright, Cierra Warren, and Camarah Wilson all of Galesburg; along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, including uncles Curtis Wright and Corice Wright.

Cam’Ron had worked at Jimmy Johns in Galesburg, last as an assistant manager. Cam’Ron was a young man full of hope, who looked out for everyone he was close to. He would light up any room he entered with his personality and smile. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends and playing basketball. Cam’Ron enjoyed listening to music and looking good with his clothing.

Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at East Linwood Cemetery, Galesburg. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Watson Thomas Funeral Home to assist with expenses. Online expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.watsonthomas.com.
