Helen Jane Coe, age 79, of Anthony, Florida. passed away on February 19, 2024, at Cate’s Hospice House.

She was born on December 24, 1944, in Galesburg, Illinois, a daughter to the late Robert Stephen Daniels and Mary (Lovdahl) Daniels Dickerson.

Helen worked for several years at Western Stoneware Pottery in Monmouth, IL. In 1986 she relocated to Silver Springs, FL and worked at a family-owned convenience store. When she moved to Anthony, FL, she went to work closer to home at Pilot Travel Center.

Helen enjoyed creating fairy gardens, collecting Goofy items, shopping and acting “goofy” with her co-workers at Pilot. Spending time with her family, best friend, and her beloved dogs were her greatest joys.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters Lucille M. Anderson and Constance M. Daniels, and her brothers, R. Stephen Daniels and William G. Daniels, and her husband, Robert A. Coe, Sr.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory a daughter Pam (Bill) Grys of Sherrard, IL, a granddaughter Kelseyanne (Dakota) Brandom of Rock Island, IL and several nieces and nephews.

Private burial ceremony will be held at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens. A celebration of life visitation will be 1 to 2:30 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2024, at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral and Cremation Services of Galesburg. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or a local animal shelter of the donor’s choice. Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com.
