Mr. Jestin L. R. “Jesse” Morrison, 35, of Galesburg, Illinois died suddenly at 12:30 a.m. June 22, 2024, at his home. 

He was born December 28, 1988, in Galesburg to Jesse Morrison and Mary Clifford. 

Surviving is his mother, Mary Clifford of Galesburg, a brother, Sonny (and Claudia) Morrison of Rock Island, seven sisters, Jessica (and Willie) Morrison-Kirk of Davenport, Iowa, Sandy Morrison of Galesburg, Dela (and John) Bril of Rock Island, Jestine (and Woody) Brodnax of Rock Island, Wendy Morrison of Silvis, Illinois, Dottie Liggins of Leesville, Louisiana, and Joanna Morrison of St. Louis, Missouri, and several Nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Morrison, two brothers, Jerry Morrison and Harvey Morrison, and a sister, Rita Stewart. 

Jesse graduated from Galesburg High School in 2008.  He was a clerk at the Henderson Street HyVee Grocery Store in Galesburg and later was a custodian for Allure of Lake Storey Nursing Home and the Y.M.C.A, both in Galesburg.  Jesse was a collector of antique figurines and toys.  He loved spending time with his friends and family. 

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, July 1, 2024, at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Galesburg Chapel.  A graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at East Linwood Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the family to help with expenses.  Online condolences may be made at www.h-p-w.com
