Linda L. Fisher, 81 of Monmouth, IL formerly of Solon, IA passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024 at the Monmouth Nursing Home, Monmouth, IL.

Linda was born August 27, 1942 in Iowa the daughter of Wilfred and Mable (Erickson) Novak. She was raised and educated in Marengo, Iowa, then moving to Chicago for high school years.

She married Paul Fisher in Chicago, IL on November 15, 1972 and he passed away on October 8, 2012.

Linda worked as an Administrative Clerk.

She enjoyed camping at South Amana Pond with her family and friends.  She also enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren and following their activities.

Survivors include her sons, Jeff (Brenda) Runge of Monmouth and Mark (Amy) Runge of Solon, IA; her grandchildren, Job Runge, Noah Runge, Jordan Runge and Jenna Runge; her best friend through life, Janet Uden of Deerfield, MA also survives.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and siblings, Robert Novak, Shirley Crouse and Winifred Bertelli.

Cremation has been accorded.  No visitation or services are planned. Memorials may be given to Hospice Compassus and sent to the funeral.
