Monmouth Firefighters Log 167 Training Hours in a Month

Share

During the month of May, the Monmouth Fire Department completed 167 hours of training, reports City of Monmouth Communications Director Ken Helms:

“That was on topics of like musculoskeletal injuries, sports medicine, and how to set up the MABAS Western Shelter. The MABAS Western Shelter is a very large tent that can be set up for mass casualty events or a large cooling center, different things like that. It is good that they keep all their training current on it.”

The fire department also participated in a touch-a-truck event at Monmouth-Roseville’s Lincoln Early Childhood School.
