New Monmouth-Roseville Varsity Volleyball Coach Lissa Schreck Familiar with Titan Program

Share

There’s a new head coach for the Monmouth-Roseville Titan volleyball varsity squad. Lissa Schreck is going to be taking over the Titan volleyball program. Schreck is no stranger to high school volleyball head coaching, and the Monmouth-Roseville program. Following a 4-year stint with the Titan program starting in 2006, she took over the Macomb Bomber program in 2010, making two regional championship appearances. She then moved on to the Galesburg Silver Streak volleyball program as head coach of the sophomore squad. Schreck takes over for Laura Swiler, who stepped down from coaching, following the 2023 fall season. Swiler spent six season as the head coach of the Titans, winning 126 matches. She won at least 20 matches each season, minus the covid season of 2020. Swiler’s Titans lost to Macomb in a regional championship match in 2022.

Schreck joined Prairie Communications Sports Director Shawn Temple at the Halfway to Freezing For Food event and talked a little bit about her coaching career and her expectations for the Titan volleyball program.

Monmouth-Roseville will take on United in what has become a highly anticipated annual summer scrimmage on Friday, July 19th at United High School.
