With the start of summer and July right around the corner, County Fair season will be here before you know it. The Henderson County Fair kicks off Wednesday, July 17th with the Queen Pageant at 6 pm, held at the West Central Middle School. The jam packed week of events begins Monday, July 22nd with the annual Family Night taking place Wednesday, shares Fair Board President Brian Randall:

“It has continued to grow over the last couple of years. It is free admission on Wednesday night and the Bank of Stronghurst is our Grand Champion sponsor for Family Night. We will do the kiddie tractor pull with the Warren-Henderson Farm Bureau and then one of the big attractions is capture the flag color war. There is registration on our Facebook page for that as well and also an events page. SummerFest will be there as well with the combination of the Regional Office of Education #33.”

On Thursday, July 25th, the Henderson County Fair will host Casey Donahew in concert, with tickets available online. For a complete schedule of events, visit hendersoncofair.com or the Henderson County Fair Association on Facebook.
