Monmouth College Volleyball Team Earns AVCA Academic Award

MONMOUTH, ILL. (07/17/2024) The Monmouth College volleyball team earned the AVCA Team Academic Award sponsored by INTENT on Wednesday. The Scots have earned the award 12 times in the last 15 years including seven of the last eight.

The award is given to teams who maintain a GPA of at least 3.30 on a 4.0 scale for the academic year.

“When you join our program, good volleyball isn’t the only expectation as we also expect to be the best in the classroom,” said head coach Derrick Broekemier. “I’m so proud of our team and their achievements in the classroom this year.
