McDonough District Hospital’s new Pharmacy on the Macomb campus is in the home stretch of construction. Vice President of Business Strategy Patrick Osterman explains the pharmacy will bring an added convenience to the community:
“We are going to be open seven days a week. We will have extended hours until 9 pm Mondays through Fridays, so we are hoping that added convenience will just have people take a look and see if they want to use our services. Just because you have an appointment on the MDH campus, you don’t have to use our pharmacy, but we think once you see the convenience of it. When you call in the prescription, you leave the office, you can go pick it up, you can use the drive-thru, especially during days with inclement weather, and pick up your prescription; or you can head home, and we have free home delivery.”
Target opening date of the MDH Pharmacy is October 2024.
