Proposed OSHA Standards Could Put Strains on Volunteer Fire Departments

In new standards being proposed by OSHA, volunteer fire departments would have to follow new regulations, explains State Representative of the 71st District, Dan Swanson:

Representative Swanson informs the Colona Fire Chief John Swan brought this to his attention during a press conference expressing his concerns, stating these rules could cost the department an additional $60,000 per year.
