R. Marilyn Unglesbee, 93, of Knoxville, passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2024 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.

Marilyn was born on November 1, 1930 in Philadelphia, Missouri. She was the daughter of Lynn S. and Marie (Watts) Feaster, Sr. Marilyn married Cecil L. Unglesbee on November 26, 1949 in St. Louis, Missouri. Together they celebrated 62 years of marriage before his passing on November 12, 2012. Surviving Marilyn are her three daughters, Yvonne Cramer, Tonya (Jim) Shirley and Dianna Vaughn, all of Knoxville; siblings, Lynn Shelby Feaster, Jr. of Ankeny, IA, Roselyn Butts of Yorkville, IL and Lynda Sue Ancell of Evanston, IL; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Marilyn was a supervisor for the Bell Telephone Company (that would later become Sprint), retiring around 1991. She loved to sew and go dancing at the Oaks Senior Center and Harleys.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM, on Saturday, August 3rd, 2024 at the Knoxville Cemetery, Knoxville. Arrangements have been entrusted with Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes and Crematory, Knoxville. Online condolences can be left to the family at www.hurd-hendricksfuneralhome.com
