Renovations Continue at the New Monmouth Community Resource Center

Jamieson Community Center’s new Monmouth Community Resource Center location continues to transform as renovations are underway, shares Executive Director Nancy Mowen:

“We’ve got new windows in. We have a new roof, insulation, had some painting done, we have walls framed in now, and the next step will be to get the power all set because we gutted that building. Everything in there is new except for the exterior walls. So grateful to the Pattee Foundation and also Craig Twomey, who is supervising that project.”

The Monmouth Community Resource Center, located at the former Tom and Linda’s grocery store on South Main Street, will house Jamieson Community Center’s food pantry, thrift store, and a resource specialist to work with families in connecting them with individuals in the community.
