The Warren-Henderson Farm Bureau® Foundation is proud to announce this year’s scholarship recipients. Due to the generosity of the Twomey Family Foundation, memorials in honor of loved ones, support from our members and area businesses, and fundraising efforts, the Foundation can assist nineteen applicants this year in furthering their education in agriculture. Each of this year’s recipients will receive a total of $1,300 for the 2024-25 academic year.

The Foundation started awarding scholarships in 1994 and since that time has awarded 412 scholarships and almost $350,000 to students continuing their education in an agricultural field of study.

Meet one of this year’s recipients: Ryleigh Hall

Ryleigh Hall graduated from Abingdon-Avon High School in the spring and plans to attend Black Hawk College East in Galva to major in vet tech. In high school, Ryleigh was involved in FFA, 4-H, choir, drama, softball, key club, and FCA. In her spare time, she enjoys softball, drama, and raising rabbits and goats. Ryleigh’s future plans include becoming a vet tech. Ryleigh is the daughter of Christopher and Tiffany Hall of Avon.
