42nd Annual Central Illinois ABATE Bash this Weekend

Share

The 42nd Annual Central Illinois ABATE Bash will be held this weekend, Friday, August 23rd through Sunday, August 25th at the Knox County Fairgrounds. Special Events Coordinator James Hawk shares the awareness and community involvement the event has brought over the last four decades:

“As far as our chapter, Central Illinois ABATE, we have done quite a bit of work in the community throughout the years, we are talking over four decades. Backpack runs, toys for kids and such, we have brought so much of that that we see almost weekly now throughout the summer by other motorcycle groups and others, like Shop with a Cop. This is our Annual ABATE Bash and for this we are bringing awareness, what we are, what we do through community involvement. We also donate to the Youth Riders Association and the Galesburg Athletics Club. It is quite a fun filled weekend for the family and everyone.”
