Beyond the Call of Duty End of Watch Ride Will be in Galesburg August 7th

Knox County Sheriff Jack Harlan Jr. would like to invite everyone to attend the Beyond the Call of Duty End Watch Ride on Aug 7, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. Beyond the Call of Duty End of Watch Ride is a nationwide ride honoring fallen law Enforcement Officers with a rolling memorial wall. The Knox County Sheriff’s Office will escort the EOW Ride from Woodhull to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, where they will stop to honor Deputy Nichols Weist’s sacrifice. The wall should be arriving at approximately 9:00 a.m. and staying until 10:00 a.m. The media is welcome and encouraged to attend and cover this event. We appreciate your help in letting the public know that all who like to see the Rolling Memorial Wall are welcome.
