Earl F. Bielser,92, of Monmouth, IL, passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, IL.

Earl was born March 4, 1932 at home in Gladstone, IL, the son of Earl R. and Frances P. (Krow) Bielser.  He was raised and educated in the Gladstone area, graduating from G & O High School in 1950.

Earl served with the United States Army following his high school graduation during the Korean War, stationed in Germany.

Earl married Mildred A. “Midge” Earp on October 30, 1952 in Gladstone and she passed away on March 14, 2022.

Earl spent his career in agriculture service positions in central and southern Illinois including Mason City, San Jose (Allen Station) and Salem. He and Midge retired back “home” to Monmouth in 1997. 

He was of the Methodist faith.  He was an avid collector of toy tractors.  He and Midge would travel throughout Illinois and Iowa to attend farm toy shows.

Survivors include his children, Cindy Bielser of Monmouth, IL, Earl E. (Marcia) Bielser of Mason City, IL, and Frank (Deb) Bielser of Monticello, IL; grandchildren, Abby (Eric) Martinez, Ann Bielser, Elaina (Tyler) Kutz, Elyse (Caleb) Ervin and Elsa (Brody Wilson) Bielser; great-grandchildren, Luke, Naomi, Lazarus, Bridget, Malachi and Miriam Martinez, Greer, Hawkins and Rory Ervin and Callen and Carson Kutz ; one brother, Ronnie (Chris Johnson) Bielser of Gladstone; his sister, Connie (Steve) Hull of Monmouth; brothers-in-law, Bob Peterson of Gladstone and Wyatt (Della) Earp of Summerfield, FL; sister-in-law, Debbie Earp of Jacksonville, IL ; several nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; 2 brothers, Robert Bielser and Dean Bielser; 2 sisters, Carol Peterson and Charlotte Foster.

Memorial services will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, August 24, 2024 at McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth, IL. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 pm Saturday afternoon at the funeral home. Interment will be at Biggsville Cemetery, Biggsville, IL. Memorials may be made to Jamieson Center, Monmouth and sent to the funeral home.
