Little League Baseball World Series Starts in Williamsport

Little League Baseball’s biggest event begins Wednesday. The Little League World Series starts in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. The 20-team tournament has 10 teams from the United States and 10 International Teams. The event begins with a matchup between the Caribbean Region representative and the Mexico Region representative at Noon CST at Volunteer Stadium. The New England Region takes on the West Region at 2 p.m. CST at Lamade Stadium.

Hinsdale, Illinois will represent the Great Lakes Region. They begin play on Friday at 2 p.m. CST against the winner of today’s game between Salem, New Hampshire representing the New England Region and Wailuku, Hawaii, representing the West Region.
