Orpheum After Dark Fright Film Fest & Orpheum Football Film Series This Fall

As the fall season approaches, The Orpheum Theatre is excited to announce The Orpheum After Dark: Fright Film Fest 2024 starting October 4th as well as a new Orpheum Football Film Series the weekend of September 20th!

Our weekend Football Film Series opens on Friday, September 20th at 7:00pm with Waterboy (PG-13). Then we’ll be following it up with a 2:00pm showing of Little Giants (PG) and a 7:00pm showing of Rudy (PG) on Saturday, September 21st. Tickets will be $5 per person and sold at the door. Each ticket comes with 1 complimentary pop-corn.

The movies on The Orpheum After Dark series will occur every Friday in October leading up to our annual Rocky Horror Picture Show event, which will take place on October 26th! And new this year we will be hosting a Family Friendly Feature Movie on Saturday October 5th! Here’s our After Dark line up:

Friday, October 4th 7:00pm: Five Nights at Freddy’s
Saturday, October 5th 7:00pm: Hocus Pocus

Friday, October 11th 7:00pm: Scream
Friday October 18th 7:00pm: The Lost Boys

Friday October 25th 7:00pm: Cujo

All Orpheum After Dark Fright Film Fest movies begin at 7:00pm and are $5 per person. Each ticket comes with 1 complimentary pop-corn.


Tickets can be purchased the day of the movie at The Orpheum Theatre box-office. The theatre’s office hours are Tuesday through Friday, 10am to 2pm and can be contacted by phone at 309/342.2299 or by visiting www.galesburgorpheum.org.
