Scholarships for the Trades Available Locally

Share

If you are looking to go back to school or will be studying a trade, scholarships are available through the Western Illinois Regional Council, shares Public Relations Manager Jamie Roth:

“If anybody is studying at an Illinois trade school or community college that is studying a trade; it can be anything from cosmetology to information technology to CNA’s, that is a very popular one, if it is considered a trade, something where you earn a certificate, reach out to us. It is needs based so there is no essay. It is based on the household income and then providing all the necessary documentation.”

Scholarships are available for students living in Warren, McDonough, Knox, Henderson, or Hancock Counties.
