Monmouth College head football coach Chad Braun made his usual appearance on the WRAM Morning Show on Monday to recap his team’s non-conference match up with nationally ranked Wartburg College on Saturday at the newly renovated artificial turf at April Zorn Memorial Stadium. In a playoff-type atmosphere, Wartburg pulled away in the second half for a 38-24 victory.
Despite the loss, Braun acknowledged the excitement in the air.
Coach Braun and the Fighting Scots will head north on Saturday to kick off Midwest Conference play against the University of Chicago. The AM1330/FM95.7 WRAM pregame show will start at 12:35 pm with kickoff at 1:00 p.m.
