The two-day Great Nicola Magic Festival is right around the corner with the Warren County History Museum, beginning with the After Dark event for those 21 and older on Friday, September 27th at 7 pm with two strolling magicians and headliner Ben Ulin. Saturday is Family Day at the museum, with doors opening at noon and the first show at one o’clock, explains Director Dr. Eugene Watkins:
“It opens up at noon. At one o’clock will be the children’s show with T.J. Regul, he is well-known for his strolling magic and his upclose card tricks. At two o’clock, Tom Best will be doing the Great Nicola trivia and then at 2:30, T.J. is going to hold a children’s magic workshop. At 3 pm, we will have the matinee show with David Casas. He has been at this for about 20 years now. He will be followed at 4 pm by Jeff Rankin, who will be speaking on the history of the Great Nicola. Then the big headliner is at 6 pm, a magician named Jay Mattioli, he has been voted one of the youngest, two-time champion of stage magic by his peers.”
Tickets for both events can be purchased at the Warren County History Museum or online.
