Prairie Players Civic Theatre Presents Always a Bridesmaid

Share

Always a Bridesmaid is a hilarious comedic romp co-written by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope, and Jamie Wooten and directed by Anne Carman-Hendel. Four friends have sworn to keep the promise they made on the night of their Senior Prom: to be in each other’s wedding—no matter what. More than thirty years later, these Southern friends-for-life are still making “the long walk” for each other, determined to honor that vow. Cast members include: Chloe White, Shari Robinson, Chris Curtis, Stephanie Liljedahl, Mary Ellen Milem, and Sonrisa Nolan.

Performances are at 7:30 P.M. on Friday, September 13 and 20, and Saturday, September 14 and 21, and 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, September 15 and 22, at Prairie Players Civic Theatre, 160 S. Seminary Street, Galesburg. Ticket prices are $16.00 for adults and $9.00 for students.

Always a Bridesmaid is supported by our generous sponsors, Ducky’s Formal Wear, Kohl’s Diamond Gallery, and Cooks & Company.  Prairie Players Civic Theatre also acknowledges support from the Illinois Arts Council. These partnerships are essential to our mission of creating affordable, quality productions that enrich our community.
