On Tuesday, November 19th at 7 pm, Dr. Steve Johnson will be presenting at the Knox Agri Center, discussing ‘Managing Tight Crop Profit Margins,’ explains Warren-Henderson Farm Bureau President Jake Armstrong:

“If you have a grain setup, I would highly encourage you to attend this meeting. He is going to talk about cost of carry and just because there is carry in the market, doesn’t necessarily mean it is actually paying you; it could be costing you with interest rates with how they are, and just how to figure out that calculation for your farm. It is a cost we actually have to figure this year. Something we have not had to do for a while just with not having carry in the market, plus the interest rates being where they are at. We are just having to dust off some old skills we haven’t used, so this is a good seminar to brush up on those and just get your head on right for the 2024-2025 marketing year.”

To reserve your seat for this seminar, contact the Warren-Henderson Farm Bureau at 309-734-9401.
