Monmouth-Roseville Cross Country Team Have Great Showing at Panther Invite

The Monmouth-Roseville Cross Country team traveled to Erie on Tuesday for the Erie-Prophetstown Panther Invite. Leading the Titans was Drew Carlson with a season-best of 19:37. Love Kapesa took an amazing 1:46 seconds off his best time for a new personal record of 23:06. Trace Gallagher also competed in the boys race and came in with a 27:28.

In the girls race, Chloe Kelly crossed the finish line in 25th place with a time of 24:12. Aubrey Hall came in next knocking 1:04 off her best time with a new personal best of 25:43 and Atziri Vazquez finished up the competition with a time of 27:14.

The Titans have this weekend off, but will compete again on Saturday, October 19th at Detweiller Park in Peoria in the Peoria Heights Patriot Invitational.
