Monmouth Mayor Rod Davies has announced his candidacy for re-election in the upcoming Primary Election. A Monmouth native, Mayor Davies shares his platform for seeking re-election as the Mayor of Monmouth:

“I know I had talked about retiring after this term and it is my concern for the City and all of the challenges we have before us, the unfinished projects that we have in the cue, and the replacement of our Administrator in the next one to two years that have driven me to seek another term. We have about $38 million worth of capital projects in the cue; continuing to fund our pensions, continuing to grow our infrastructure projects so that we can continue to grow our tax base. Everything we do is geared towards ensuring that living in Monmouth is affordable.”

The race for Mayor of Monmouth will appear on the ballot for the Primary Election on April 1, 2025.
