Sandburg College invites all former Chargers men’s and women’s basketball players to return to John Lewis Gym for an alumni reunion Nov. 16. This day-long celebration will allow Sandburg basketball alumni to reconnect, reminisce and make new memories while cheering on this season’s Chargers squads. Sandburg men’s basketball coach Ryan Twaddle talked about his team’s schedule to begin the season and not only the fun of the alumni game, but the importance of the event on the Wednesday WRAM Morning Show.

The alumni event will get underway on Nov. 16th at 8:30am with the check-in and photo opportunities. Men’s and women’s alumni will have an open gym at 8:45 for games and contests. Brunch will be held at 10am at the redesigned Loft Cafe, with campus tour including the new Science & Technology Center. The Charger’s women’s game against Madison will start at 1:00, with the women’s basketball alumni being recognized at halftime. The Charger men will take on Madison at 3:00, with men’s alumni announced at the half. The day will conclude with an alumni dinner/gathering at Pizza House at 6:00. Alumni can RSVP by visiting sandburg.edu/basketballreunion.
