The Ellisville Opera House Hosts Jerry Finnigan’s Sister

The Historic Ellisville Opera House proudly presents Jack Neary’s Jerry Finnegan’s Sister directed by Kenny Knox on November 8, 9 and 10. There is a 7:00 P.M. Curtain on Friday and Saturday nights and a 2:00 P.M. Curtain on Sunday afternoon.

Written in the late 1980’s, Jerry Finnegan’s Sister presents the iconic “girl next door” story without being self-conscious and with a great deal of laughter. The love of Brian Dowd’s (Adam Duffield) life, who happens to be his best friend and next door neighbor’s sister (Sarah Smith) is getting married and Brian needs to speak his mind or regret it forever.

During the first act the audience is served a generous charcuterie plate and a choice of drink and during the second act, audience members are given a choice from the dessert tray and either coffee or hot tea. Admission is 20.00 for adults and 15.00 for students K-12.
