United Wraps up 2024 Regular Season with Loss to Stark County.

With the last game of the season the United Red Storm are looking to end it on a good note. Facing off against the very good Stark County Rebels, the Red Storm are looking for an upset game. Right off the first kickoff the Rebels ran the ball in for a touchdown and made the extra point to make the score 7-0. The Red Storm offense came onto the field determined and Kellen Boone threw a pass to Chance Stewart for a touchdown! The Red Storm were unable to make the extra point, but the Rebels only led by one point with the score 7-6 Rebels still leading. The Rebels then came out and quickly scored again and made the extra point to extend their lead over the Red Storm to 14-6. To start the second quarter Zeke Clark caught a pass from Kellen Boone to score and Chance Stewart ran the ball in for the two-point conversion. The United Red Storm tied it up 14-14. After halftime the United Red Storm received the ball but unfortunately threw an interception. With the Rebels receiving an interception they worked their way down the field and eventually got a touchdown. The Rebels however didn’t make the field goal to make the score 20-14 with the Stark County Rebels leading the United Red Storm during the third quarter. To start the fourth quarter the Stark County Rebels ran the ball in for a touchdown and scored the two-point conversion to make the score 28-14. Soon after the past touchdown the Rebels intercepted the ball and ran it back to the touchdown. They also made the extra point to extend their lead to 35-14, the Rebels leading the Red Storm. The Red Storm made an effort to come back but unfortunately the Rebels started to take over in the fourth quarter. The Stark County Rebels scored again and made the extra point to make the score 42-14 with the Rebels leading the Red Storm. The Red Storm was not giving up in the fourth quarter and Kellen Boone made a quick pass to Chance Stewart and Chance Stewart ran it in for a touchdown. Chance Stewart then ran the ball in to convert on the two-point conversion to make the score 42-22 with the Rebels still leading the Red Storm. The rebels continuing to dominate the fourth quarter scored again and made the extra point to make the score 49-22 with the Rebels still leading the Red Storm. The final score of the game was 49-22, the Stark County Rebels took the victory over the United Red Storm. The United Red Storm finished this season with a record of 0-9 but had a hard fought season.
