At the special Warren County Board meeting Wednesday night, the Board voted on and passed the initial bond referendum to begin the process of the new Warren County Law Enforcement Center, explains Board Member Thad Tharp:

“This is what gives us the timeline to be able to start building in April of 2025. This is the beginning of the financial procedures and getting the legal documentation started to where we can get bonds issued, funding secured, and be ready to start construction as soon as possible.”

The Warren County Law Enforcement Center will be constructed on the county owned lot across from the Monmouth Fire Department and next to Western Illinois Home Health Care on Industrial Park Drive.
