The Galesburg Community Foundation is currently valued at $52 million in total assets, which is comprised of over 200 funds, shares President and CEO Josh Gibb:

“That $52 million is comprised of 200 plus different funds. Those funds are guided then by individual interests, but five of those 220 plus are Community Funds. So, the communities of Monmouth, Roseville, Alexis, Knoxville, Williamsfield, each of those communities have built permanent endowments now, under the structure of the Community Foundation for the benefit of the non-profits serving in those communities and that has been a very, very powerful tool to really engage people who might have moved away from our region to gift to our region.”

With just the Roseville Community Fund alone, Gibb, who is a native of Roseville, reports 50 percent of the gifts were from outside of the Roseville zip code and represented twelve states.
