June L. Kalb, 92, of St. Augustine, died at 9:21 p.m. Thursday, November 7, 2024, in OSF St. Mary Medical Center in Galesburg.

She was born August 8, 1932, in Galesburg, the daughter of Albert and Ann (Hreno) Martin. She married R. Duane Kalb in 1954, in Roseville. He preceded her in death November 4, 2018, after 64 years of marriage.

She is survived by three children, Greg (Rita) Kalb of Silvis, David (Sherri) Kalb of Montrose, Iowa, and Sandy (Tony) Haase of Gilson; five grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, John, Jim, and Joe Martin; and a sister, Jackie Meyers.

June was self-employed. She was a graduate of Monmouth High School. She enjoyed going to flee markets, painting pictures, and going to casinos.

Cremation will be accorded. No visitation or service is planned. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral and Cremation Services is honored to serve the family. Online condolences and memories may be shared on the funeral home’s website at www.h-p-w.com.
