Monmouth City Council Approves Downtown Rehabilitation Application

Through the Downtown Rehabilitation Commercial Building TIF program in the City of Monmouth, Scott McClintock has submitted an application for 112 South First Street, reports City Administrator Lew Steinbrecher:

“Scott McClintock, who has purchased the 112 Bistro, in in the process of rehabilitating that and he had applied for 30 percent reimbursement under our Downtown Commercial Building Rehabilitation program. His application included $5,500 to repair a section of the roof, as well as some tuck-pointing of the bricks on some of the walls for a total cost of $7,700. Council did approve that for 30 percent reimbursement, which would be $2,310 and that would be upon completion of the work.”
