Seven Monmouth Soccer Players Earn Academic All-District Honors

MONMOUTH, ILL. (11/19/2024) The Monmouth College men’s and women’s soccer teams had seven student-athletes named Division III Academic All-District by College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) on Tuesday. To qualify for CSC Academic All-District, student-athletes must be at least sophomore standing, have a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA and participate in at least 90% of their teams games or start at least 66% of their games.

For the women’s team there were four selections: Danielle Beach (Geneseo, Illinois), Anna Caster (Greenfield, Indiana), Mariah Hobson (Princeton, Illinois) and Natalya Main (Peoria, Illinois).

The men’s team had three selections: Branyon Heard (St. Louis, Missouri), Owen Murray (Cedar City, Utah) and Seth Pritchett (South Elgin, Illinois).

Main is a repeat selection while the other six are all first time selections. Caster is a senior, Main a junior and the other five are all sophomores in their first year of CSC eligibility.
