The City of Macomb is excited to announce the first Lights & Sights Holiday Bus Tour. In an effort to spread holiday cheer to all Macomb residents, the City is partnering with Go-West and the Public Transportation Department to offer a free holiday bus ride through the residential Tour of Lights displays.
This festive inaugural event will be held twice throughout the month of December. The first ride is set for Friday, December 13, and the second on Friday, December 20. The bus tour is expected to last approximately an hour and a half. Residents wishing to participate in the Lights & Sights Holiday Bus Tour can board the Go-West Bus at 6:30PM at the City Center.
“We look forward to rolling out this new holiday initiative as a way for our community members, who may be familiar with the Macomb’s public transportation system, to experience some extra Christmas cheer this season” said Savannah Ballard, Marketing and Downtown Development Director. “With the help of the residents who have decorated their homes for the holiday season and submitted their addresses to the Tour of Lights, we have the opportunity to ensure all who want to see the lights, will have the chance to do so” added Ballard.
