The Warren County Public Library has expanded their collection through an online e-book collection via Libby and Boundless platforms and now with the use of hoopla, explains Director Larissa Good:
“We have our e-books and our audiobooks that you can download. It works very similar, you borrow the book, but it is really just that you have access to the book, so you still have to have a device; a computer, your phone, a tablet, or e-reader, and you can check out books from the library. Then our latest one we have is called hoopla and that has expanded our service. It operates a little bit differently. For our other books, it kind of works similar to a physical book system where if somebody has it out then you do have to wait, but with hoopla, if you see it, it is available to you. You will have audiobooks, e-books; it also expands our collection for the first time with hoopla we will have movies that you can view, television shows, comics, and manga as well. There is a limitation that you only get six borrows per month, but you will notice that hoopla has bonus borrows.”
To utilize these online platforms through the Warren County Public Library, Larissa says you will need your Library Card number and PIN.
