2024 Warren County Fair Queen McKinley Rexroat will be one of seventy-four County Fair Queens across the state of Illinois competing at the Miss Illinois County Fair Queen Pageant later in January at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Springfield during the 114th Illinois Association of Agricultural Fairs annual convention. Rexroat, who is a sophomore at Monmouth College majoring in communications with a minor in music, shares a timeline of events for the upcoming pageant weekend:

“I’ll leave the 15th and will go and check in and then I will have two days of practicing with all the other girls. Also, have some connecting time and get to see some cool stuff that has to do with the Illinois State Fair. Then on the 18th, I will have prelims, so I will do a speech, a swimsuit portion, and an interview. Then on Sunday, it is the finals portion, so that is when they pick sixteen out of the seventy-four girls to progress into the pageant a little bit more.”

The ‘Rockin’ It Forward’ 114th Annual Convention and Miss Illinois County Fair Queen Pageant takes place January 17th through 19th at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Springfield.
