The 59th Annual Monmouth Kiwanis Pancake Day is right around the corner on Saturday, March 1st beginning at 7 a.m. at the Monmouth American Legion. Past President Danielle Cox explains the event:
“Saturday, March 1st from 7 am to 1 pm at the American Legion in Monmouth is our annual Kiwanis Pancake Day. It is the 59th Annual and we welcome all of the public to come and get your belly full.”
Member AJ Cox says 1st Responders eat for free:
“With that being said, if you are first responder of any kind too, come on in, we go through and make sure that you get plenty to eat for free. It is our little way of saying thank you. The adults are $7.00 and kids 10 and under are $3.00. Then we also have drive-thru available.”
Sausage is also available for purchase and all proceeds benefit the Monmouth Kiwanis programs serving kids in Warren County. The Monmouth Kiwanis Club has also been nominated as one of the non-profits of the year awards at the annual Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards dinner on February 28th.
