The 2025 Women in Agriculture Conference is set to take place March 28th at Bally’s Quad Cities in Rock Island. Ashlyn Quinn, Warren Henderson Farm Bureau manager shares the keynote speaker for this event will by Brooke Taylor, the founder of Rural Gone Urban Foundation.

“A very interesting story and a great advocate. She found out she had stage four breast cancer the same day she was supposed to deliver her daughter and has been battling that and figuring out life as a family and a new mom, being business owners and in agriculture, and having this very rare, aggressive form of cancer,” says Quinn. “So, we’re really excited to bring her in. She’s someone we’ve been looking at for a couple years, and it finally worked out this year that she used to come but have some other great speakers as well.”

Other speakers at the conference include Karen Stallman from Southern Illinois University, Laura Fidler of Fairview Sale Barn, and Rodney Knittel and Garrett Thalgott of the Illinois Farm Bureau.
