The Monmouth College Fighting Scots men’s basketball squad has not lost a game in over a month. After a pair of Midwest Conference victories last week, the Scots have ran off 8-straight wins. That puts them in first place in the conference standings. The most recent win for Monmouth came on Saturday’s win at Ripon College. Monmouth College Sports Information Director Nathan Baliva gave the details on the WRAM Morning Show on Monday.

The Scots are (18-5) overall and (12-2) in the Midwest Conference with two more regular season games left. The (18-5) mark is the best record after 23 games since the 1989-90 team ended the season 20-3. With the win over over Ripon College on Saturday, Monmouth head coach Todd Skrivseth has 150 career wins. He joins Terry Glasgow and Bobby Woll as the only Monmouth coaches with at least 150 wins. We’ll have the Scots men’s basketball game on the PCSN on Wednesday night as they host the Cornell Rams. Hear it on AM 1330/FM 95.7 WRAM, online at radiomonmouth.com or on our free 1330 WRAM app for your smartphone or tablet. The Scots will have an opportunity to clinch an outright regular season MWC title and host the conference tournament on February 28th and March 1st.
