IFB Young Leaders Honored for Volunteer Work

Illinois Farm Bureau Young Leaders and Collegiate Farm Bureaus were recently recognized for tallying the most volunteer hours nationwide during Farm Bureau’s annual “Harvest for All” program. The young farmers accumulated nearly 21,000 hours by volunteering at local food banks across the state throughout the year. The group raised more than $159,000 for hunger relief efforts and donated a total of 312,568 lbs. of food.
