Back from Spring Break, the students on the Monmouth College campus are on the stretch to finals and graduation. For the administration, plans for the next fall semester are already in discussion, reports President Dr. Patricia Draves:
“We are in the midst of doing a couple things, one is really getting ready for a robust strategic plan to launch in the fall. Some of that work is looking at everything that we offer right now and what are the strengths that we have that we can build on, as well as some of the market demand. That means we will look at programs that are thriving and have the ability to thrive but also looking at some things that maybe have lived out their life that students aren’t necessarily interested in, so that is some of the work that we are doing. As we look at using tuition dollars and our resources responsibly, that we are doing it in an area of growth because that is one of our goals.”
Meanwhile, on the Monmouth College campus, renovation of the former Presbyterian House is underway, which will become the new home for the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity in the fall of 2026.
