At the recent Monmouth-Roseville Board of Education meeting, Superintendent Ed Fletcher shared staff successes:

“One of our teachers at Lincoln, Mrs. Hepner, was nominated by Mr. Pilger for an ISBE ‘Those Who Excel’ award and she received an award of ‘Meritorious Service.’ Congratulations to her. It was really cool to nominate teachers and get some recognition. I talked to the Board about Mr. Pilger being named the Chamber of Commerce’s Citizen of the Year, so it was a really cool award for him to receive.”

Additionally, at the meeting the Monmouth-Roseville Board of Education approved the school calendar for the 2025-2026 academic year; teacher institute days will be August 18th and 19th and the first day of school for the students is August 20th.
