The Monmouth-Roseville Board of Education has approved a bid with Beck Tech to replace the door hardware at the Junior High building to card readers, explains Superintendent Ed Fletcher:

“What we did at the High School last year was we put proximity card readers on doors, so we are trying to get away from physical keys, which is makes it very convenient for staff members. They just use the same key to get into the school with and it gets them into their classroom. We will be doing the same thing at the Junior High. If there is a need security wise, we have one card, from the office, they can put over the card reader and it locks all the doors. They safety portion of it is very good.”

Total cost of the card readers at the Monmouth-Roseville Junior High is $203,085.30.
