This Thursday, March 20th, the Buchanan Center for the Arts will be featuring the Percussion Quartet Water, Wine, Brandy, Brine in partnership with Monmouth College, shares Program Coordinator Rebecca Quick:

“Justin Swearinger will be leading the four Monmouth College students, who will perform two compositions, one by Viet Cuong and one by Elliot Cole. These pieces are more of like an ethereal experience. It will feature wine glasses clinking together, rubbing the rim to make that vibrating sound, as well as non-traditional avow, kind of going up and down a vibraphone to create a different type of vibration sound as well.”

The Water, Wine, Brandy, Brine Percussion Quartet will be performing from 6 to 8 pm at the BCA in Downtown Monmouth this Thursday. This event is free and open to the public.
