Rebuilding a program is never easy, especially when your conference is home to 4 teams in the top 20 of the ICA Class2A Softball Rankings. The Rockridge Rockets are ranked #5 in the latest poll, followed by Sherrard at #6, Mercer County at #11 and Riverdale at #18. Monmouth Roseville Head Coach Jarrod Hippen has 8 out of 10 division games against top 20 2A teams.

Coach Hippen is in his 7th season as the Monmouth-Roseville Softball Head Coach, Hippen holds a record of 28-115 through his first 6+ seasons with the Titans. Through the first 12 games of the ’25 campaign the Titans currently hold a record of 4-8. Monmouth-Roseville has already doubled their wins from their 2024 season and only 4 wins shy of their best record under Coach Hippen, which was 8-14 in 2021.

Coach Hippen talks about what they are preaching to move this program to the next level.

The Titans will have a chance to start their first win streak of the year as they host Orion for a TRAC West on Thursday night. Though not ranked, Orion has an overall record of (6-8), including a 17-5 win over Monmouth-Roseville on Monday.
